New Hope No Hopers
New Hope No Hopers
Story
This year, on 7th September, seven of us—known as the "New Hope No Hopers"—are taking on the Tough Mudder 2024 challenge in Birmingham. We're doing it for a cause that's close to our hearts: New Hope Worcestershire. This fantastic charity, based in Worcester, provides crucial support to children with special educational needs (SEN) and learning disabilities, allowing them to connect with one another and engage actively with their community.
Why New Hope Worcestershire?
New Hope Worcestershire isn't just a charity; it's a lifeline for many families. The organisation offers a safe, supportive, and enriching environment where children with SEN and learning disabilities can thrive. They provide unique opportunities for these children to interact, build friendships, and enjoy experiences that many of us take for granted.
For many children with learning disabilities, social interaction and community involvement can be challenging. New Hope Worcestershire helps bridge this gap by organising activities and outings that foster inclusivity and personal growth. They enable children to experience the joy of being part of a community, learning new skills, and making lasting memories. The work they do not only benefits the children but also provides much-needed support for their families.
Why Tough Mudder?
Tough Mudder is more than just an obstacle course; it’s a test of endurance, teamwork, and determination. As the New Hope No Hopers, we’re pushing ourselves beyond our limits to raise awareness and funds for New Hope Worcestershire. Each muddy step we take is dedicated to the children who face their own daily challenges with courage and resilience.
Our Goal
We have set a fundraising goal of £1,500, which will go directly to supporting the programmes and services that New Hope Worcestershire offers. This funding will help provide more activities, better facilities, and greater opportunities for these children to shine.
Every donation, no matter the size, makes a significant impact. Your support will help ensure that New Hope Worcestershire can continue to create a world where every child, regardless of their abilities, feels valued, included, and capable of achieving great things.
How You Can Help
We invite you to join us on this journey. By supporting the New Hope No Hopers, you're not just helping us reach the finish line; you're helping children with SEN and learning disabilities to overcome their own hurdles and thrive.
Please consider donating to our cause and sharing our fundraising page with your friends and family. Together, we can make a difference and help create a brighter future for these incredible children.
Thank you for your generosity and support!
