Story
Hi there,
I'm running Tough Mudder to raise money for the incredible charity Young Bristol - offering community-based youth services in Bristol. This includes youth clubs, holiday clubs, and outdoor activities for young people during critical out-of-school hours.
Why?
I've had the pleasure of running food education workshops with Young Bristol during their 2023 and 2024 Holiday Activities and Food Programme and have been blown away by the positive impact of their organisation.
Their service to their communities is incredible, offering many opportunities to help young people build confidence, learn new things, and have fun.
Here in Bristol, Young Bristol continues to respond at the frontline with great initiatives to keep young people engaged, inspired, empowered and active.
£70 pays for one young person on our Outdoor Employment Programme to gain a qualification
£120 pays for 12 children to spend a day canoeing
£240 pays for 2 evenings of Youth Work for 50 young people

YOUNG BRISTOL
Young Bristol was founded in 1928. We are a registered Youth Charity (301681) who are mission led and value driven. Our focus is to support young people aged 8-25 during critical out-of-school hours. We provide welcoming, safe spaces, with a range of accessible programmes and services throughout the Greater Bristol area. In the past year, we had 23,048 contacts with young people.
